Our goal is to find the best candidates and match people with the right skills into the right positions. With Hermes its all about "fit", where an individual is able to use his or her unique talents in a position that provides him or her with the greatest opportunity for success and career satisfaction.

Once Hermes receives a resume or application, the following steps are generally taken. This process may vary slightly based upon your position of interest, our time frame for filling position, or whether or not you live locally or out of town.

1. The Human Resource Department will enter your information into our HRIS system, which allows us to track your application through the process.



2. Your resume or application is reviewed and screened by one of our Recruiting and Employment Specialists, who will match your qualifications with any open position.



3. A screening interview will take place for all candidates that appear to have skills and qualifications we desire for open positions. This interview may take place in person or over the phone.



4. We utilize a variety of assessment tools and skill tests in our screening process. Candidates must complete all of these items prior to being forwarded to the hiring manager.



5. Our Employment and Recruiting Specialists will forward any candidates that meet the screening criteria to the appropriate hiring manager.



6. It is common practice for candidates to interview with the hiring manager at least once and also interview with several other employees in the department as deemed appropriate. Overall, this process may take from 2-6 weeks depending upon a number of factors. Once again, this is to provide both the company and the candidate ample opportunity to learn about each other and assess if there is a good "fit."
