Landscape Design & Installation
Hermes
takes great pride in being able to lead the industry in creating
award-winning landscapes. Our professional image extends
from our sales/design staff through to our production crews. We
incorporate hardscape and lighting features. Whether the work is
commercial or residential, we work with the customer to create the
curb appeal specific to the individual's needs and desires.
Production
Crew Leader:
Our crew leaders work independently as a
field technician or may lead a production crew ranging in size from
1-6 people. Crew Leaders have generally mastered skills in one or
two technical areas, are able to drive all types of vehicles and
operate equipment.
Superintendent:
Our field superintendents are field experts
in multiple disciplines and have the leadership abilities to take
charge of large complex projects. Superintendents often interface
with subcontractors, project managers, customers and may have several
crews reporting to him or her at any given time on one or multiple
projects.
Mechanic:
Our in-house team of mechanics service and
repair our ever expanding fleet of trucks and off-road vehicles,
construction equipment and small engine equipment. They also complete
light bodywork.
Design
Designer:
Our award winning design team creates progressive,
innovative and truly unique designs, a hallmark of the Hermes name.
Our design team offers their unique talents to a variety of customers
and serves as a valuable resource for all divisions of the company.
Sales
Sales Trainee:
Our most successful sales people have started
in the sales trainee program. This 1-2 year program gives people
with sales aspiration and skill the opportunity to work in the field
and learn the nuances of what it takes to get the job done.
Sales Representative:
Our team of Sales Representatives are proud
of the relationships they have built with their customers. They
offer complete sales and account management services.
Estimating & Project Management
Estimator:
Primarily working in the Commercial Division,
our Estimators work with plans for some of Kansas City's most exciting
installation projects.
Project Manager:
Coordinates all production related activities
for primarily complex commercial installation projects. Interfaces
with contractors, subcontractors, other projects managers and field
superintendents.
Management
Division Manager:
A key member of the company's leadership
team, Division Managers oversee all sales, production and administrative
activity within a division. Division Managers assume responsibility
for team development, establishing and meeting sales goals, ensuring
quality and timely completion of all production activity, coordination
of activity and resources between divisions, long-term planning
and ultimate P&L for the division.
Production Manager:
Operate and manage all activity associated
with field production including work schedules, labor budgets, troubleshooting,
safety and quality assurance. Production staff range in size from
7 to 20 work crews.
